Wrapper script for OpenConnect supporting Azure AD (SAMLv2) authentication to Cisco SSL-VPNs. Installation Using pip/pipx. A generic way that works on most 'standard' Linux distributions out of the box. Aug 01, 2014 I use Arch Linux at work; and on my personal system too. I love the charm of setting up a new Arch Linux from scratch. It seems very ‘nerdy’ way of installing Linux but I don’t care; it’s. elrengo@xpsl421x Cisco$ ls -l total 24840 drwxrwxr-x 5 elrengo users 4096 Nov 28 17:28 anyconnect-3.1.06073 -rwxrwxr-x 1 elrengo users 85080 Nov 28 13:12 anyconnect-linux-3.1.06073-EnableFIPS.gz drwxrwxr-x 6 elrengo users 4096 Nov 28 17:26 anyconnect-linux-3.1.06073-vpnapi -rwxrwxr-x 1 elrengo users 7132271 Nov 28 14:12 anyconnect-linux-3.1.06073-vpnapi.gz drwxrwxr-x 3 elrengo users 4096 Nov.

Installation
Using pip/pipx
A generic way that works on most 'standard' Linux distributions out of the box.The following example shows how to install openconect-sso
along with itsdependencies including Qt:
If you have Qt 5.x installed, you can skip the installation of bundled Qt version:
Of course you can also install via pip
instead of pipx
if you'd like toinstall system-wide or a virtualenv of your choice.
On Arch Linux
There is an unofficial package available for Arch Linux onAUR. You can use yourfavorite AUR helper to install it:
Using nix
The easiest method to try is by installing directly:
An overlay is also available to use in nix expressions:
.. or to use in configuration.nix
:
Windows (EXPERIMENTAL)
Install with pip/pipx and be sure that you have sudo
and openconnect
executable commands in your PATH.
Usage
If you want to save credentials and get them automaticallyinjected in the web browser:
User credentials are automatically saved to the users login keyring (ifavailable).
If you already have Cisco AnyConnect set-up, then --server
argument isoptional. Also, the last used --server
address is saved between sessions sothere is no need to always type in the same arguments:
Configuration is saved in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/openconnect-sso/config.toml
. Ontypical Linux installations it is located under$HOME/.config/openconnect-sso/config.toml
Development
openconnect-sso
is developed using Nix. Refer to theQuick Start section of the Nixmanual to see how to get itinstalled on your machine.
To get dropped into a development environment, just type nix-shell
:
To try an installed version of the package, issue nix-build
:
Arch Anyconnect Software
Alternatively you may just get Poetry andstart developing by using the included Makefile
. Type make help
to see thepossible make targets.
